To teach the medical emergencies and their treatment modalities in dental treatments, sedation and general anesthesia practices in dentistry.
Content
Basic life support, emergency cases in dentistry and their treatment modalities, oral sedation, intra-muscular sedation, general anesthesia practices in dentistry

Learning Outcomes
1) Describes the principles of basic life support and lists in order the practices.
2) Perform the basic life support on the model
3) Identifies the drugs and equipments required in medical emergencies.
4) Recognizes the hypersensitivity reactions and list in order the practices.
5) Recognizes the chest pain associated with cardiology diseases and list in order the practices performed in emergency situations.
6) Lists in order the practices in emergencies associated with hyperventilation and pulmonary diseases.
7) Lists in order the practices in foreign body or gastric content aspiration.
8) Differentiates the alteration of consciousness and lists in order the practices performed in emergency situations.
