Goals
To teach the students orthodontic diagnostic methods and basic principles about preventive, interceptive and corrective orthodontic treatments.
Content
Orthodontic diagnostic records and methods, treatment objectives and the responsibility of orthodontists, preventive and interceptive orthodontics, the basic principles of corrective orthodontic treatment have been taught to the students with detailed visual presentations.

1) Have enough knowledge about orthodontic diagnostic methods
2) Be able to determine malocclusions
3) Have enough knowledge about preventive orthodontics
4) Ascertain of impending malocclusions subsequent to environmental factors and have knowledge of the applications to intercept malocclusions
