Free surface flows; classification of open channel flows; open channel types; open channel geometry; hydraulic gradient;velocity and friction loss equations for open channel flows; optimum cross sections; specific energy and critical depth; open channel flow problems; gradulaly varied flow; rapidly varied flow; hydraulic jump
