Goals
Giving students an ability to define air, climate and climate components, -information about the meteorological events to improve the quality and quantity of crop and animal production, - information about meteorological events which has negative effect on agricultural production and the preventive measures.
Content
Definitions on weather, climate and climate factors. Atmosphere and its properties, energy balance, temperatures, radiation, precipitation, air pressure, evaporation and humidity, wind types; measurement techniques and methods of meteorological parameters; and climate in Turkey and global climate changes and its effects on agricultural production and water resources.

1) Has basic knowledge generally in Agricultural Sciences and specifically in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition
2) Has the ability to identify, define, formulize and solve engineering problems. Choses and applies the appropriate analytical and modelling techniques for this purpose
3) Owns basic scientific information on plant nutrients and their applications which ensure healty nutritions of plants for high quality and economic plant production
