Goals
Scrutinized the media and community relations in this course, a variety of mass-media approaches in the multidisciplinary field of communication studies will be discussed along with the location of the mass media in the center.
Content
Definitions of mass communication, media systems and institutions, the use of technology, social, cultural theory, audience research, strengths and limitations, such as domain theories will be examined in the historical development of the basic theory and concepts; students will be introduced to new approaches in mass communication studies.

1) Has information related to the main theories as a basis with the instrumental Social Communications and teleological.
2) Explains Communication Studies with the basic concepts and framework of the field, communication patterns, communication and cultural functions.
3) Synthesizes information from areas like Sociology, History, Psychology, Linguistics, Political Sciences, Anthropology, and so on, from an interdisciplinary perspective, and with the comparative concepts of various approaches in Communication Studies,
4) Differentiates the scientific knowledge and methods from non-scientific ones, uses technological innovations in the field.
5) Has the knowledge and skills to use explain how it works in every aspect of communication in different cultures, and on the major means of communication in individual, group, institutional communication.
