Goals
The aim of the course is to teach the sources of drugs that affect body systems (endocrine system, respiratory system, digestive system), mode of actions, uses and doses, nutritional pharmacology (vitamins, minerals), chemotherapeutic drugs (antibiotics, anthelmintics, drugs affecting protozoans and fungi, antiseptics and disinfectants) and to to provide an ability of appropriate and conscious drug use.
Content
Pharmacology of Endocrine sytem, Pharmacology of liquid-electrolyte and acid-base system, Pharmacology of Respiratory system , Pharmacology of Digestive system, Nutritional Pharmacology, Chemotherapeutic drugs (antibiotics, anthelmintics, drugs affecting,protozoans and fungi, antiseptics and disinfectants).

Learning Outcomes
1) To be able to explain autocoids.
2) To be able to list sources and properties of drugs affecting endocrine system.
3) To be able to explain impairment of liquid-electrolyte and acid-base balance ; sources and properties of drugs affecting on this system.
4) To be able to list the sources and properties of drugs affacting on the respiratory system
5) To be able to list the sources and properties of drugs affacting on the digestive system.
6) To be able to explain the properties and usage of vitamins, minerals.
7) To be able to describe the properties, pharmacokinetics, mode of action, adverse effects, drug interactions, uses and doses.of chemotherapeutics (antibiotics).
8) To be able to explain the properties, pharmacokinetics, mode of action, adverse effects, drug interactions, uses and doses.of chemotherapeutics (antihelminthics).
9) To be able to explain the properties, pharmacokinetics, mode of action, adverse effects, drug interactions, uses and doses.of chemotherapeutics (drugs affecting protozoan and fungi).
10) To be able to explain the properties, pharmacokinetics, mode of action, adverse effects, drug interactions, uses and doses.of chemotherapeutics (antiseptics and disinfectants).
