Goals
This course aims to give acritical review of the social institutions and human social behavior. There are alternative views to understand human nature and the relationship between social World of an individual. However, this course aims to show how compatible sociology works with other disciplines such as especially history, politics, and law while investigating a specific historical and modern social issue.
Content
The course will cover definition, scope, methods and research techniques of sociology, social organization; culture- socialization, groups, stratification,demography and the concepts related to social change.

Learning Outcomes
1) It relates the social institution to the social structure and explains the functions of the social institution.
2) Institutions can explain sociology, explain the relation of a social institution with other institutions and structures.
3) Explain the open and hidden functions of social institutions.
4) It explains the interrelationships between social institutions and each other and makes basic analyzes about the social structure.
