Generate a general understanding about the relationships between basic concepts of education, teaching profession, education and other institutions.
Content
Basic concepts of education, teaching profession and professionalisation conditions, school and classroom environment, foundations of education, new trends in the twenty-first century, mass communication and education, the problems of Turkish education system

Learning Outcomes
1) Declares the relationships of basic concepts in educational psychology
2) Declares how to occur physical, cognitive, emotional and morel development until adulhood
3) Explains by giving examples of the changes with age in different developmental areas
4) Describes how they affect each other in areas of development.
5) Defines what it is to learn. Declares factors affecting learning
6) Explains the principles of classical and operant conditioning by comparing these two type of learning with another.
7) Explains observational learning principles. Tells how to use the principles of observational learning in the classroom
8) Explains the cognitive processes in Information Processing Theory . Explains how to use the information processing theory to classroom teachers.
