Goals
The purpose of this course is to give the students more understanding of topics in computer architecture through installing, maintaining and replacing e a common hardware components, booting process and install an operating systems.
Content
Fundamentals of computer hardware. Describing computer hardware components and their function. Hardware and software installation. Boot sequence. Configuring an operating systems. Diagnose common computer hardware and software errors.

Learning Outcomes
1) To be able to identify and describe common computer hardware components and their functions
2) To be able to build the peripheral units and configure their settings
3) To be able to configure the boot and use of the BIOS settings.
4) To be able to install and use of an operating systems
5) To be able to diagnose basic hardware failures and offer a solution for the hardware and software errors
