The aim of the course is to give fundamental knowledge on the concentration methods to extract valuable minerals from ores, to show the basics of the equipments used in the field, to give calculation methods for evaluation of the processes.To teach basic mineral processing subjects which are electrostatic and magnetic seperation, leaching, ion-exchange, solvent extraction, enhancing of magnetic properties and changing physical and chemical properties of ore and gangue minerals by heating.
