Course Goal

At the end of this course, students will recognize the concept of accounting, which is also expressed as the language of business, and will be able to draw up two basic financial statements that are important in year-end analysis of businesses. They will gain the necessary basic infrastructure in general accounting and agricultural accounting, they will have the chance to practice in accounting, and they will have the ability to comprehend and solve the problems that arise in this regard.

Course Content

The development of accounting, its basic concepts, basic financial statements, uniform chart of accounts in accounting, single and double sided record keeping technique, bookkeeping on the basis of balance sheet and business account, accounting systems applied in agriculture, agricultural business records (physical and financial records, analysis of accounting records) , some sample applications on computer
