Course Goal

The aim of this course is to provide knowledge about the classification and morphologic identification of adult and larval stages of diptera species causing myiasis and the association between myiasis and forensic cases for students who graduated from Forensic Sciences.

Course Content

The components of this course consist of; taxonomy, morphological and biological properties of diptera species causing myiasis in human and animals, clinical symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and control of myiasis, and relationship between myiasis and forensic cases.
