Course Goal

To introduce the characteristics of color, which is a component of architectural design, and to convey information on color design principles at the scale of interiors, buildings and settlements.

Course Content

Vision and color perception, two and three dimensional color systems, color mixing rules, light-color relationship, interior and building surface color design principles, theoretical and applied studies with Munsell Color System, examination of color design examples, color in a sample building/region design implementation
