Course Goal

The aim of this course is to introduce the political, cultural and socio-economic structure of the Central Anatolia Region in the second half of the 1st millennium, in company with the important centers in the region.

Course Content

The political and cultural developments in the Central Anatolian Region during the process that continued until the Hellenistic Period after the Persian domination of Anatolia are examined in the light of written sources and archaeological data.
