Course Goal

The aim of the course is to process the process starting from the past to the present day with the curiosity and understanding of the universe and the process of scientific method. Human relations with science and the developments in science up to now and their impact on human life in a wholeness with the philosophical dimension of the students to discuss and to understand the issue in which students work in a unity and taking advantage of this is to bring a different dimension to the graduate and doctoral studies. In addition, to understand the scientific point of view to scientific life and events. It is aimed that the skin is taught as a compulsory subject to all graduate and doctorate students

Course Content

From the human being to the present day, the changes in nature and the nature of scientific approaches changes have been processed from a systematic point of view. The development of the agricultural tools in the early ages up to the present information society, the progress of science in different periods and cultures and their dynamics are studied. Scientific developments and science-human relations in the period of Ancient Age, Middle Ages, Renaissance, Islam and Ottoman Period and their reflections on the Republican period and present information technology ages. The development of humanity in science and technology together with the understanding of the history of science and the progress of the stage until today has revealed. It is important to learn the history and philosophy of the history of science and education to reach knowledge and scientifically to lean the thinking methods. Understanding philosophy of science can help to developed new information and technology.
