Course Goal

Introduces plant genetics, the basis of plant reclamation, and explains how to apply it to plant reclamation

Course Content

This course contains the history of plant genetics, introduction to flower morphology, meiosis and mitosis, breeding methods of self-fertilized plants, hybridization techniques, intraspecific crosses, interspecific crosses, mutation breeding, polyploidy breeding and breeding methods of cross-pollinated plants
