Course Goal

It aims to explain the impact of religious actors, institutions and ideologies on policy-making, state-building, democratic politics, regime changes, conflict, war and other political processes.

Course Content

The role of religion in society is valid for all nations and faith traditions. In this course, the effects of religion on the political system will be examined not only in the western world but also in all geographies.The influence of religion on historical process and the changing relations between religion and state are the main themes of the course.
