Course Goal

The purpose of the internship is to train physicians who are capable of providing primary health care, diagnosing and treating common diseases in the field of ENT, managing diseases such as respiratory obstruction and epistaxis in emergency conditions and distinguishing the diseases to be referred.

Course Content

The scope of this internship includes story taking and basic examination training and practice, theoretical lessons, file preparation, bedside training, seminar preparation, operating room training. Interns follow the patients in the Otorhinolaryngology Service under the supervision of the instructors.

LO01 Must be able to take anamnesis for the disease, perform ENT-Head and Neck physical examination (SKILLS)
LO02 Should have information about common diseases in the field of Otorhinolaryngology, should know the diagnosis and treatment approach
LO03 They should be able to make the differential diagnosis of diseases, identify the diseases that will require referral, and write a report about the patient and/or the disease.
LO04 Must be able to intervene in ENT emergencies such as acute dyspnea and epistaxis and plan the next process (SKILL)
LO05 Gain the ability to evaluate and analyze laboratory, radiological and audiological examinations (SKILL)
LO06 Be able to present a seminar about a disease using medical information technologies and/or documented resources (COMPETENCE)

LO08 She should be able to prepare the files of the patients she is responsible for in the service, present and write the epicrisis, learn to prepare prescriptions in outpatient clinic applications
