Course Goal
At the end of this course, student teachers are expected to acquire teacher roles, skills, and attitudes related to applying effective teaching skills, classroom behavior management, and teaching management.
Course Content
In this course, the definition and importance of microteaching, the stages of the microteaching cycle, teaching skills that can be developed through microteaching, the limitations of microteaching, planning teaching activities appropriate to the subject matter and objectives, examining sample microteaching videos, and applying lesson plans and course presentations. In line with the feedback given and the video recordings examined, information about the re-organization and implementation of teaching plans and assessment criteria in microteaching will be included.
Course Precondition
Faculty of Education students can take the microteaching course starting in the fourth semester.
