Course Goal

The purpose of this course is to give basic knowledge on the characateristics of the tropical and subtropical pastures and principles of their management and development

Course Content

The course covers following topics: Animal production through multiple uses of range and pasture ecosystems in tropical and subtropical regions, use of brushes and tree-like plants in range management and development, seed mixtures for rehabilitation of the pastures, grazing systems for an effective utilization of tropical and subtropical pastures
