Course Goal

Summarize the components of sustainability and draw the framework. To initiate the lifelong learning process in the context of a sustainable environment. Put energy-related benefits into practice while protecting the world's resources on the one hand. To discuss the strengths and weaknesses of different technologies and policies. To criticize sustainability models considering the constraints. To evaluate and calculate the criteria used in sustainability models. It is aimed to examine the economic, technological, political and environmental dimensions of the energy, energy systems, energy and economic growth, protection of energy demand and energy, international energy markets, determination of a national energy policy.

Course Content

Future of energy industry, energy legislation, energy costs and tariff programs, obtaining energy and energy resources, strategic energy plan development, energy calculations, energy consumption analysis, energy consumption measurement and evaluation tools, engineering economics.
