Course Goal

The aim of the course is to enable students to gain knowledge about preventive guidance and psychological counseling and to have knowledge about preventive psychological counseling and guidance studies that can be carried out with students at different school levels and the implementation of these studies.

Course Content

This course include Basic concepts related to preventive guidance, historical development of preventive studies, theories and models that preventive studies are based on, risk factors and protective factors in preventive guidance, and competence-enhancing guidance practices that can be made for students in different developmental periods.
