These transition paths vary depending on the knowledge and skills that students have, as well as the career goals and education options they want to pursue. Undergraduate Education with Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS): Students have the opportunity to receive undergraduate education through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) after graduation. This exam allows vocational school (VOC) graduates to transfer to undergraduate programs at various universities. They can gain more in-depth expertise by receiving undergraduate education in fields such as machinery, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, and automotive engineering. Undergraduate programs offer students broader career opportunities and enable them to take on higher-level positions in their professions. Career Advancement in the Business World: Graduates can reach higher positions in the business world as they gain sectoral experience and develop their professional skills. During this process, they can develop in leadership, project management, and expertise areas and assume positions such as production managers, quality control managers, and project managers. These types of positions allow graduates to take on more responsibility and use their professional skills. Starting Their Own Business (Entrepreneurship): Graduates with an entrepreneurial spirit can also evaluate the opportunity to start their own business. Especially in the manufacturing sector, they can offer innovative solutions to the sector by establishing their own engineering and manufacturing companies. For students who want to start their own business, MYO education provides technical knowledge and practical experience, allowing them to evaluate opportunities in this field. As a result, students have the opportunity to continue their undergraduate education through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS). In addition, they can advance their careers in the business world with entrepreneurship and professional development opportunities.
Internship
CNC Program students are required to complete a mandatory internship to gain experience in the business world. Internships provide students with a great opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in real work environments, follow developments in the sector and adapt to business life. Internships are a requirement for graduation and contribute to the development of students' professional skills. Purpose of Internship: To provide students with real work experience in the fields of mechanical engineering and manufacturing technologies, To ensure that they learn computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), machining and chipless manufacturing processes, To provide students with practical training in important areas such as occupational health and safety, welding applications, To strengthen the cooperation between the industry and the university and to ensure that they gain information about the sector. Internship Content: Internships are carried out in industrial establishments or companies in the relevant sector. Students complete an internship in a workplace that includes at least 5 subjects. These topics are as follows: Hand Tools and Machine Tools: Students will take part in production processes using hand tools and various machine tools, shape machine parts and learn and apply machining processes.
