The PhD program in Private Law aims to ensure that lawyers who have completed their undergraduate and graduate education in the field of law are specialized in the field of private law and to graduate by writing a doctoral thesis in this field. For this reason, intense changes in the basic laws lead those who want to work in the academic field with law practitioners.

Especially in the last fifty years; In addition to national law, important developments have been recorded in international and supranational dimension in the fields of Law of Obligations, Commercial Law and Atypical Contracts Law, Banking Law, Consumer Law, Competition Law, Banking Law. This process of development and evolution continues.

Goals
The aim of the Private Law Doctoral Program is to train expert lawyers who have in-depth knowledge in the field of private law sciences, academic competence and analytical thinking skills, and who can contribute to the field through scientific research. The program encourages comprehensive academic studies in fundamental private law areas such as contract law, collateral law, construction law, civil procedure law, enforcement and bankruptcy law, consumer law, liability law, international private law, corporate law and mediation.
Objectives
The Private Law Doctoral Program intents to train expert lawyers who have in-depth academic knowledge in private law disciplines, have developed scientific research and analysis competence, can evaluate legal problems from a critical perspective and produce solutions, and can contribute to academic studies at national and international levels.
