General Information
The Organic Agriculture Program is a program that trains "Organic Agricultural Technicians" who can understand and apply the organic farming production principles and philosophy, which is a reflection of the sustainability principle in agriculture. Although agricultural production activities are an indispensable economic activity for the protection and continuation of human existence, since the natural balance is not observed in the conduct of these activities, the nature of agricultural production can no longer meet our needs, and even it has begun to present a risk at a level that will harm human existence. At this stage, the production principles and philosophy that preserves the characteristics of the resources (nature) we use to meet our needs in every field, that is, sustainable economic activities were needed and agricultural activities were reconsidered in this sense. As a result, Organic Agriculture Production Method, which is production systems that are friendly to nature and human beings, has begun to be adopted.

The Organic Agriculture Program is a program that educates its students on the "Organic Agriculture Production Principles and Philosophy", which are production systems that are friendly to nature, living beings and people, with theoretical and applied training and earn them the title of "Organic Agricultural Technician". Each year, 26 students are enrolled in the program. Within the scope of the program, to train qualified technical staff with sufficient knowledge and practice about organic plant and animal production method, quality control of the products produced, preservation and preparation for the market.

Goals
The purpose of the organic agriculture program is to train intermediate personnel who can adopt and apply the production method that is friendly to nature, living beings and human beings in the conduct of agricultural activities.
Objectives
To train the workforce that can apply the "Organic Agriculture Production Principle and Philosophy" in order to protect, improve and develop the existing agricultural production resources in the process of carrying out agricultural production activities within the scope of the sustainability principle.
Specific Admission Requirements
Students are admitted to the Organic Agriculture Program through the Central Placement Examination conducted by ÖSYM, among those who have graduated from high school or its equivalent. Candidates who get sufficient points from the TYT score type in the Central Placement Exam for the Organic Agriculture Program are placed by OSYM, taking into account their preferences for higher education programs and the quota and conditions of these programs. The registration of students placed in the Organic Agriculture Program is made by the student affairs unit within the framework of the calendar determined by OSYM.

Qualification Requirements of Graduation
In the Organic Agriculture Associate Degree Program, taking 120 ECTS courses during the two-year education period, successfully completing all the courses, having the lowest grade of DD, no FD, FF and NA grades, a GPA of at least 2.00, and a 30-day workplace application summer Students who do their internship can graduate. Students who do not meet these conditions cannot graduate. Students who are successful in the Organic Agriculture Associate Degree Program receive the "Organic Agriculture Associate Degree Program Diploma".

Internship
It is a course in which the information in the practical and theoretical courses given to the students within the scope of the Organic Agriculture Program is evaluated by living in the workplace applied summer internship for 30 working days in private and public enterprises and institutions related to the field of organic agriculture, and the work experience of the students before they join the workforce.
Applied Course
Practical trainings for all the courses given in the vocational field in the program are carried out in the certified organic agriculture application area in Yumurtalık Vocational School.
Work Placement
It is a process in which the information in the practical and theoretical courses given to the students within the scope of the Organic Agriculture Program is experienced by living in the workplace applied summer internship for 30 working days, the work experience of the students before joining the workforce and what they can actually do are evaluated by themselves and an independent third party.
