Occupational Safety Non-Thesis Master program is an interdisciplinary program. Science, Literature, Engineering, Fisheries, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Medicine and Law. The program provides in-depth information on occupational health and safety to students who want to become / are experts in occupational safety or want to increase their knowledge.

Feature & Definition

To be able to adapt to new or interdisciplinary technologies with the ability to solve problems related to Hazardous situation and Hazardous behaviors and to follow, review and apply innovations / regulations in Occupational Health and Safety have a flexible knowledge base. In order to graduate from this program, it is required to be successful from 30 national credits and at least ten courses with a term project of not less than 90 ECTS.

Goals

The aim of this interdisciplinary program is; to teach occupational health and safety at workplaces, legal regulations, hazard identification to workplaces, risk assessment and risk control measures, and thus to teach strategies to prevent occupational accidents at workplaces.

Objectives

students with interdisciplinary student resources in this program; The aim of this course is to teach the students about occupational health and safety in terms of legislation, workplace hazard sources and risk assessment methods, and to gain the ability to evaluate risk in dangerous, very dangerous and less dangerous workplaces.

In this program, students can continue their education in graduate programs in their own field or related fields as a result of the evaluation of undergraduate graduation average, written and interview exam within the scope of program of Çukurova universitiy Graduate Education and Training Regulation

The Regulation on the Duties, Authorities, Responsibilities and Training of Occupational Safety Experts as specified in Article 8 / b-2; The graduates of the faculty who have received a graduate education in the occupational health and safety or occupational safety program or who have engineering or architectural education and technical staff (who have the title of technical teachers, physicist, chemist or biologist) can take the occupational safety expertise exam (B) of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security ). have a B class occupational safety certificate if they are successful. With this document, they will be able to work as occupational safety experts in dangerous and less dangerous work places. Students who do not graduate from the above-mentioned faculties and programs, but who want to be informed in the field of occupational safety can also be provided.
