Çukurova University, Institute of Social Sciences, Public Finance Master Program with thesis has started education and teaching activities in 1992-1993 Fall Semester. The Master's program in Public Finance aims to educate the qualified Public Finance Specialist in the public and private sectors. For this purpose, theory of public finance, budget and financial law based on the basic knowledge in the field of analysis is a weighted education program.

Goals

The Master of Science Program with Public Finance Thesis aims to educate the students who are capable of scientific and analytical thinking and analysis, to comprehend the reason of existence of the public sector in the economy both at theoretical and practical level, to train Public Finance Science Experts who have the necessary legal and economic perspective in the solution of financial problems.Within the scope of this program, multidimensional education is provided to graduate students in order to follow scientific publications within the scope of public fiscal science, to contribute to literature, to provide both local and national scale prescriptions in the solution of financial problems and to provide their ability to take part in this purpose.

Objectives

Since 1992, continuing education and training activities in Finance Master Program with thesis, continues its activities in accordance with the goals achieved. The program provides students with the opportunity to receive a master's degree from the graduates of the university or from other universities. In addition, our program also offers graduate education to graduates of Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations which aims to work interdisciplinary.Students who graduate from the master program are working mainly in universities, the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, the Social Security Institution and private institutions. It is clear that the individuals who have scientific thinking skills and who use analytical, critical thinking styles and who are in the effort to improve themselves professionally in their institutions and their benefits to the institution are clear.

Students are admitted to this program under the conditions specified in "Cukurova University Graduate Education and Training Regulation".

Students who successfully complete this program are awarded with a diploma in Public Finance (Master of Science with Thesis).

Students who have successfully completed the Public Finance Masters Program can study in their own fields or in related fields of doctorate programs provided that they obtain valid grades from ALES and have sufficient knowledge of English.
