Feature & Definition

It is aimed to design efficient systems in the field of physical education and sports, to train qualified personnel, to introduce the opportunities of developing sports technology, to develop physical education and sport throughout the country. In this way, it is aimed that the student who participates in the training programs, knows the structure, functioning and behaviors of the human organism, recognizes the Turkish sports organization and can make comparative evaluations, and has a qualification of teaching and coaching.

Goals

The aim of the department of Physical Education and Sports; aims to learn the basic knowledge and skills necessary for analyzing physical education and sports related issues, questioning and doing research, foreseeing and making the right decision.

Objectives

This Master's program is designed for students; To be able to apply methods and techniques in the field of physical education and sports, to analyze and evaluate the data, to follow the research methods and techniques in the field, to apply the basic professional knowledge, to follow the literature related to the field at national and international level, to be able to produce solution suggestions for the deficiencies in the field, social, scientific and aims to gain the skills of collecting, recording, interpreting and publishing the data within the framework of ethical values.

Specific Admission Requirements

Students in this program, "CU Graduate Education Regulations" under the ales, as a result of the evaluation along with the undergraduate graduation ALES and interview exam may continue their education in graduate programs in its field or a related field

Qualification Awarded

Upon successful completion of this program the students of Physical Education and Sports (Master's Degree) awarded a diploma.

Qualification Requirements of Graduation

A master's program with thesis consists of a total of at least 120 ECTS credits, at least eight courses including the seminar course and thesis work, provided that it is not less than 60 ECTS credits in one academic term (total of fall and spring semesters).

Access to Further Studies

In this program, graduate students have successfully completed the training, take note ALES valid from their fields and in adequate condition to certify that they have knowledge of the English language or in related fields can study in PhD programs.
