This program of the higher -level electrical engineer electrical engineer in close contact with the industry role is intended to be grown . Students with basic electricity in this program , electric hand skills , measurement, electrical supplies, building of electrical machinery and control, integrated projects , electrical energy usage, control systems, power electronics applications and computer use are given theoretical and practical training in the subject .

Feature & Definition
The educational practices are carried on both theoretically and practically and accomplished within four semesters. The intermediate technical staffs are trained to appoint from production to using of electricity in workshop and laboratory departments of small, medium and large scale several electrical plants. The program has a quota of 40 students.

Goals
The aim of this course is to educate the technical staff who have closely followed the requirements of the era, know the electrical machinery, equipment and systems used in the industry, know their properties, do their maintenance and repairs, use their professional knowledge in industrial applications, recognize and program programmable devices.
Objectives
High level of knowledge and skills, can apply the requirements of the profession at the highest level, is a privileged program to train qualified intermediate elements.
Specific Admission Requirements
Students are admitted to the Electrical Energy Generation, Transmission and Distribution Program with a central examination conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Students are admitted to the department in the TYT score type and a 2-year associate degree education is given in our department. In order for students to be placed in the Electric Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution Program, the TYT exam score must be calculated as a result of the Higher Education Institutions Exam. Students whose TYT score has been calculated are placed in the program of their choice with the Central Placement made by ÖSYM, according to their success ranking.

Qualification Requirements of Graduation
The education period is four semesters. In order for the students to graduate from the program, they must take all the courses available in this program and have 120 ECTS, complete them with a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and not have failed courses. Graduates are entitled to receive an Associate Degree in Electric Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution.
Access to Further Studies
Candidates who have completed their Associate Degree education have the right to continue their education in the Faculties that provide undergraduate education if they succeed in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS). In addition, if they pass the university entrance exams and are successful, they can move to a department in their field and be exempt from the courses they have taken.
Internship
There is an industrial internship of 30 working days.
Applied Course
Due to the lack of infrastructure, the applications of the courses cannot be made.
Work Placement
There is no work-based learning activity other than internship.

Program students have the opportunity to be accepted to exchange programs such as Erasmus, Farabi and Mevlana.
Employment Opportunities
As qualified personnel with the title of 'Electrical Technician', the graduates of the program will be assigned to all public institutions in order to take part in the establishment of all kinds of facilities, the continuous operation of the enterprises, the control, maintenance and repair of electrical devices and tools, the continuity of production, energy generation, transmission and distribution. and can find employment in private organizations. There are also opportunities to open their own business.
