General Information
The proposal of the Çukurova University Rectorate to establish an Automotive Engineering Department within the Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences and to open a graduate program within this department was examined at the Higher Education General Board Meeting on 08.10.2009 and the said proposal was approved. Our Automotive Engineering Department Master's Program is also continuing successfully and produces its graduates.

Feature & Definition
The graduate program of our department, which was established in 2008, was opened in 2009. The aim of the Automotive Engineering Master's Program is to be a continuously developing and exemplary Master's Program that provides education at an international level and carries out original research studies, in accordance with international criteria and based on continuous development. Automotive Engineering Master's Program aims to contribute to the development of today's and future technologies in the field of Automotive Engineering, to take the Turkish Automotive Industry further, to contribute to the training of qualified researchers and innovative workforce that the automotive industry needs, to carry out R&D studies in the automotive field and to develop University-Industry cooperation.

Goals
Students who have a bachelor's degree in basic sciences or engineering, while enriching their knowledge in the field they will specialize in with the courses they take in their master's programs, apply modern design and analysis methods and field-specific innovative technologies. In these programs, students are offered courses in various departments of the institute according to their interests with an interdisciplinary approach. Students have the opportunity to conduct applied research in laboratories with technical infrastructure in accordance with today's standards.
Objectives
To educate graduates who have the knowledge and skills required by the automotive engineering profession, who will take active roles at international levels, who can use this knowledge and skills for the benefit of humanity, and who have professional and ethical responsibility; To contribute to the development and dissemination of science and technology in the country and in the world with its basic and applied research.
Specific Admission Requirements
-To have Bachelor's degree from Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering and Chemical Engineering Departments. -It is necessary to get at least 55 from ALES performed by OSYM or 610 from GRE (149 new system) or 450 from GMAT for applying Graduate programs with thesis. -It is necessary to get at least 50 point from YDS or appropriate score from equivalent exams to OSYM Foreign Language Exam.
Qualification Awarded
When the Automotive Engineering Master's program is successfully completed and the program qualifications are met, a Master's degree in Automotive Engineering is obtained.

Qualification Requirements of Graduation
Students who successfully complete the compulsory and elective courses in our curriculum, complete the seminar and thesis work, and meet the conditions specified in the Çukurova University Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences graduate education regulations are entitled to receive a Master's degree.
Access to Further Studies
Candidates who successfully complete their master's education can study in doctoral programs if they meet the application and registration requirements for doctoral programs.
