It aims to teach the basic concepts, research areas, research techniques and current education and training practices in pharmacology education and to provide students with the skills to carry out a research project that will contribute to their own development in the field of pharmacology. It is also a graduate program aimed at educating scientists who can present their own work orally and in writing, and pay attention to ethical rules.

To teach the basic concepts of pharmacology, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of drugs, their effects, drug interactions and effects on organ systems; To gain the ability to carry out a research project as a researcher in the field of pharmacology by recognizing the research areas and research techniques of pharmacology. In addition to the theoretical courses, the training program also includes practical laboratory courses.

To provide basic pharmacology education to students at postgraduate level and to transfer theoretical and practical basic information about pharmacological research; To train researchers who can conduct scientific research and present the results orally or in writing, and comply with ethical rules.
Objectives
It aims to train researchers with pharmacology knowledge who can plan and carry out research in the field of pharmacology and interpret the results obtained.

Master's graduates continue their doctoral program and work in universities in Turkey or abroad, in different units of the pharmaceutical industry, and in research and development centers. In addition, Turkish Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency, T.C. Graduates of this program also work in public institutions and organizations such as the Social Security Institution and the Public Health Institution of Turkey, pharmaceutical consultancy companies and professional organizations.
