Elementary Mathematics Education Program trains competent mathematics teachers in the field at the end of four years of undergraduate education covering the fields of Elementary Mathematics teachers. Graduated students of this department can go on their academic career, and also can work as a science teacher in schools of Ministry of National Education in public and private.

Goals
The aim of the program is to contribute to science and education for our country and the world, to produce knowledge, to create contemporary educational environments, to educate mathematics teachers who adopt the understanding of contemporary education. In addition to this, it is aimed to give these teachers basic knowledge and skills such as doing research and practice in mathematics, problem solving, and relating mathematics to daily life.
Objectives
To educate elementary mathematics teachers who have ethical understanding of teaching profession.
Specific Admission Requirements
In order for students to be admitted to the Primary School Mathematics Teaching program, they must have obtained a sufficient score in the Higher Education Institutions Exam.
Qualification Awarded
Students who successfully complete this program are awarded with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Mathematics Education.

Qualification Requirements of Graduation
In order to graduate from this program, it is necessary to have a minimum GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 and to be successful in all courses.
Access to Further Studies
The graduates of this program are eligible to apply for admission to graduate studies in same field or related areas if they pass the evaluation process designated according to the regulations of “Çukurova University Graduate Education and Examination Committee”, which includes ALES, general point of average, and the interview.
Internship
The courses Teaching Practice-I and Teaching Practice-II within the program are carried out in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, in cooperation with the Ministry.
Applied Course
In the Community Service Practices course, students work as volunteers in various non-governmental organizations (such as TEMA, LÖSEV, TEV, AÇEV, etc.). Teaching Practice-I and Teaching Practice-II are courses of this nature.

Private institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education (such as schools, private tutoring centers, and study centers) are included in this scope
Double Major, Additional Major & Exchange Possibilities
The Double Major Program is a program that allows students who are enrolled in any undergraduate program and meet the necessary requirements, to pursue another undergraduate program that is related to their primary field of study, enabling them to obtain a second bachelor's degree. This program is implemented based on the request of the relevant department, the recommendation of the relevant unit council, and the decision of the Senate. The principles regarding the Double Major Program are determined by the Senate. The Minor Program is determined by the request of the relevant department, the recommendation of the relevant unit council, and the decision of the Senate, and it is conducted through cooperation between the departments. The Minor Program allows students who are enrolled in any undergraduate program and meet the necessary requirements, to pursue a certificate-oriented minor program in addition to their main undergraduate program. The Minor Program does not represent a separate bachelor's degree program. The principles related to the Minor Program are determined by the Senate.
Employment Opportunities
Graduates of the Elementary Mathematics Teacher Education Program, teaching in private schools and public schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education; They can work as teachers in Science and Art Centers, as experts in Ministry of National Education (MoNE) and the private schools affiliated to it, or as a civil servant in different institutions of the state.
