General Information

The aim of this undergraduate programme of the department of Business Administration is to train qualified middle and senior managers, working either for public or private sector institutions. Within this framework, the program helps to gain the abilities of finding solutions to the problems of the companies; as well as improving the skills to have an analytical perspective and to develop entrepreneurial qualities.

This program helps to gain the skills and awareness on the basic subjects of business and theoretical models by using quantitative and statistical wats to analyze events, interpret, develop and implement solutions to show good performance in team work, to communicate effectively, and to have business ethics and social responsibility.

Goals

To prepare and train a human resource equipped with the knowledge and skills of business administration, entrepreneurship and management in accordance with the requirements of the age for local, national and international levels of business life.

Objectives

To bring in a student the knowledge and ability of setting up a business, to manage it and to have the capacity of develop it for herself/himself or for another person. Thus, to make the student innovative, entrepreneur and capable of using the contemporary technologies about his/her business, who can work in a team, has the fundamental knowledge of business administration, can think the functions of the management relevant with production, marketing, finance, human resources and accounting.

Specific Admission Requirements

Placement through a centralized national university placement examination (ÖSYS). Student Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM) is responsible to place students according to their ÖSYS scores.

Qualification Requirements of Graduation

In order to graduate from this program, it is necessary to have a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and to be successful in all courses.

Access to Further Studies

The graduates of this program are eligible to apply for admission to graduate studies in same field or related areas if they pass the evaluation process designed according to the instructions of "Çukurova University Graduate Education and Examination Committee", which includes ALES, GPA, and the interview.

Internship

There is no internship course.

Applied Course

Information Processing Techniques, Entrepreneurship and Volunteering Work courses are applied courses.

Work Placement

There is no on-the-job training.
