Audiology master's programme with thesis trains audiology and speech disorders specialists who believe in the necessity of expertise by providing higher level knowledge and skills in the field of audiology and speech disorders, who are aware of the needs of the world, country and region, who have scientific competence, and who have high awareness. It also educates academicians who will respond to the teaching staff requirements of associate and undergraduate schools.

Goals

The aim of this programme is to train Audiology and Speech Disorders specialists who have reached a certain experience in education and research in the field of Audiology and Speech Disorders, who can present the data obtained for the benefit of science and humanity, who are knowledgeable, enlightened, competent and competent in national and international scale.

Objectives

To train audiologists who follow scientific and technological developments in the field of audiology and speech disorders, who have gained advanced and deep knowledge, skills and attitudes in education, research and practice, who can integrate their knowledge with clinical and scientific studies, who can interpret the results, who can continue lifelong learning, who can contribute to educational programmes related to audiology, and who are experts at national and international level.

Specific Admission Requirements

Students can continue their education in graduate programmes in their own field or related fields as a result of the evaluation of ALES, undergraduate graduation grade point average and interview exam together within the framework of ‘Ç.Ü. Graduate Education and Training Regulations’.

Qualification Awarded

Bu programı başarı ile tamamlayan öğrencilere Kulak Burun Boğaz (Odyoloji)(Tezli Yüksek Lisans) diploması verilir.

Qualification Requirements of Graduation

In order to graduate from this programme, it is necessary to successfully complete all the courses in the programme and have a GPA of at least 3.00 out of 4.00.

Access to Further Studies

Students who have successfully completed their master's degree in this programme can study in PhD programmes in their own or related fields, provided that they get a valid grade in ALES exam and have sufficient knowledge of English language.

Internship

There is no internship in the audiology programme, but there are applications within the scope of the courses.

Practices are carried out in units/clinics appropriate to the field of courses.
