It is a program that provides multidisciplinary education in the field of addiction to people who have completed their graduate education in Science, Medical / Health Sciences and Social Sciences. With this program, doctoral education is given in different areas of Addiction.

This program aims to educate science doctors in the field of Addiction. Persons receiving the title of doctor of science who graduated from addiction doctorate program; It is expected to have knowledge about Addiction Epidemiology, Addiction Sociology, Addiction Law, Addiction Psychology, Clinical Addiction, Basic Sciences and Behavioral Addiction, Addiction Education and Crime Sciences.

Goals

Graduates of the program, will be able to work, conduct academic activities and contribute to graduate education in institutions such as Addiction Institutes, University Hospitals, Forensic Medicine Institute, Ministry of Health Public Hospitals, Private Laboratories, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Gendarmerie Criminal Laboratory, Police Criminal Laboratory, Forensic Sciences Institutes, Courthouse, Hospitals, Child Care Centers, Child Protection Units and Courthouse.

Objectives

* To provide training for people to work in the field of addiction by conducting education and scientific research * To contribute to the structuring of units serving in the field of addiction in accordance with international standards * To increase the efficiency of the training and implementation programs to be provided in the field of addiction by using the developing technology, * To provide international service in accordance with science and technology in the field of addiction.

Specific Admission Requirements

In this program, students are accepted as a result of the evaluation of ALES, Undergraduate Graduation Grade, foreign language score and interview exam within the framework of “CU Graduate School of Education Regulations”.

Students who successfully complete this program are awarded the "Doctorate" Degree of Addiction.
