General Information

The program is founded by Cukurova University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Accounting. Currently being affiliated with the department, masters program is continuing education as an interdisciplinary program. Program´s education language is Turkish and objectives are performing financial reporting at domestic and international level by utilizing interior and exterior accounting information, obtaining reliable financial statements by executing accurate accounting records, providing convergence with accounting and eliminating unnecessary financial expenses with the help of accounting profession.

Goals

The aim of this program is to bring the managers to the business life by developing managers who have entrepreneurial, dynamic and analytical thinking skills who are aware of the constantly changing and changing market conditions.

Objectives

The Master of Science (MSc) in Accounting with Thesis will try to reach this goal with the curriculum which is based on the current theory and applications and the expert teaching staff who will teach in this program.

Specific Admission Requirements

In order to graduate from this programme, the students are required to successfully complete all the courses with a minimum average grade point of 2.50 out of 4.00.

The students who have successfully accomplished this program gain The Master's Degree of Accounting.

Qualification Requirements of Graduation

This program consists of at least seven credit courses with a total of not less than 21 credits, specialization courses, seminar course and thesis.

Access to Further Studies

The graduates of this program are eligible to apply for admission to obtain a PhD degree in their or related fields if they pass the evaluation process designated according to the “Regulations of Çukurova University Graduate Studies”, which includes a required ALES score and an adequate English language proficiency.
