Education in Turkey costs very little in comparison with many countries in Europe. Higher Education Credits and Hostels Institution offers three types of credits granted for students who can meet the application requirements.

Grant: These grants are offered to students who are successful and in need of support.

Tuition Fee loan: This is a standby credit for students like grant. However, students refund the money at the end of their education.

Contribution loan: This loan covers some of the tuition that students are required to pay for the university every semester. The money is not directly paid to the students but transferred to the bank account of the university. Students refund the money at the end of their education.

Besides the credits offered by the Higher Education Credits and Hostels Institution, there are also alternative support programs for students who are in need of support.

Many institutions, foundations, associations, and private companies offer credit alternatives for our students. 
Çukurova University Presidency also supports students providing various grants for students. Health, Culture and Sports Office of the university offers free lunch for students who are in need. 1000 students earned the free lunch grant during 2022-2023 academic years.

Additionally, students can apply to Health, Culture and Sports Office of the university to get a part-time job in any office on campus according to their free time and interests and skills and get financial support for their education. Every year, about 600 students get a part-time job.

All grant opportunities are announced by the academic advisors of the departments for the students. Students can also follow the announcements on the notice boards or the website of the university to get detailed information.
