Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to teach the ability to create the concept of garment pattern and draw a garment pattern.
Course Content
Production steps of confection. Clothing and clothing concept. Size types and its application techniques.The relationship between body size and the pattern size. Clothes pattern (basic pattern, model pattern and final pattern). Lay plan. Pattern applications for various clothes. Manual pattern making applications. CAD and CAM in clothing technology. Features and functions of the menu of the CAD programme. Garment care instructions in clothing technology.
