Course Goal / Objective

This course aims at teaching diagnosis devices and their functions

Course Content

Computer aided measurements. A/D and D/A conversion. Acceleration and breaking assistance: measurements of linear and angular position, velocity and acceleration. Motor management sensors. Enhanced service recognition metering. Problems and danger warning systems. Distance and relative velocity metering to other vehicles and obstacles. Sensors for traffic navigation and guidance systems. Instruments, warning devices, and displays. Fundamentals of electronic control units: block diagram, design aspects. Microcontrollers, switching transistors, communication between electronic systems. CAN-bus system. Electronic transmission control system. Testing of vehicle diagnosis systems.
