Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to give general information about cotton spinning; give principles of opening, cleaning and blending/mixing, introduce blending machines, teach the theory of carding, introduce carding machine, give information about combing and comb preparation machines, give information about roving frame and explain the principles of spinning.
Course Content
Spinning Systems. Method of Cotton Spinning. Method of Wool Spinning. Method of Silk and Linen Spinning. Opening and Blending, Carding, Drawing, Combing, Roving,Principles of Twisting, Ring Spinning,Open-End Rotor Spinning ,Spinning Machines and Working Principle. Yarn Numbering Systems.
