Course Goal / Objective

To learn the fabrication and the priciple of operating semiconductor devices

Course Content

pn junction, the threshold voltage, forward and reverse bias, ohmic contact, metal-semiconductor contacts and Schottky diode, bipolar joint (BJT) transistors, field effect transistors (MOSFET, MISFET, JFET), Photodiode, Solar Cell, Light Emitting Diodes (LED).
