Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to inform about textile quality control techniques, standards and standardization, statistical quality control, fabric quality control devices and concerned standards.
Course Content
Fabric Characteristics and Properties. Statistical process control an its importance. Fabric Shrink ,Tear and Resistance Tests. Wear and Pilling Tests. Handling and Drape Property of Fabrics. Colour Measurement and Colour Fastness Tests. Tests Applying Yarn and Fabric Contain Elastomer, Test applied to fibers that contain silk, Carpet Quality and Features, Specification in Textile, Quality Guarantee and ISO Standardization.
