Course Goal / Objective

by lecturing the topics covered by Health Physics which is one of the application area of Physics, to explain the meaning and importance of Health Physics as well as to teach physical principles and application areas of Health Phsics

Fiber optics and endoscopes laser in medicine ultrasound imaging based on diagnostic x-rays and CT scans for diagnose Radionuclide scans, SPECT and PET Radiation therapy and radiation safety in medicine Magnetic resonance imaging physics and chemistry of absorption of radiation The molecular mechanisms of DNA and chromosome damage and repairing radiological terrorism molecular imaging doses and risks in diagnostic radiology, cardiology, intermediary radiology and nuclear medicine Radiation protection cancer biology
