Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to give information about electric and hybrid vehicles to the students.

Introducing and providing information on Early develpments on Electric And Hybrid Vehicles, A Typical Electrical Vehicle and Hybrid Cars, Battery Charging Controller, Operation of Controller, Currently available EV systems, Fuel Cells EV motor types for vehicle applications, Torque-speed curves for a Hybrid vehicle Properties of Electric Vehicles, Battery and EV Performances, Comparison of electric motor vs IC engine characteristics, Matlab Simulink Modelling, Modelling and control of Electric and Hybrid Vehicles, Analysis of simulation results.
