Course Goal / Objective
After completing this course; The students will increase their knowledges and skills regarding grafting/budding and rootstock-scion relationships that are related to propagation of fruit trees and production fruit sapling.
Course Content
Physiology and germination of seed, basics of seed propagation, graft propagation, cutting propagation, anatomical structure of rooting, formation of root and shoot during propagation by layering and tissue culture, basics of healthy plant growing during propagation, basics in propagating fruit trees and cultivars.
