Course Goal / Objective

The purpose of this course is to provide knowledge about the current legal regulation about occupational health and safety, to define the basic objectives and principles of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the importance of occupational health and safety in engineering applications, the current position and responsibilities of Geological Engineers under the current law, Job safety in construction sites and mines and in drilling applications.
