Course Goal / Objective
To teach the methods of searching and finding natural construction materials,to determine the research methods of natural construction materials,required tests for rock and soil and aggregates and to determine the suitability of the material.
Course Content
Classification of natural construction materials. Research techniques. Sampling and laboratory studies. Aggregate, soil and rock material laboratory tests. Reserve determination, use of standards. General features of natural construction materials using for dam and highway constructions, quality and quantity studies of natural building materials. Reporting.
