Course Goal / Objective
To introduce the students of mechanical engineering English as a foreign language to be used throughout their career. To present a broad introduction to the language and terminology of mechanical engineering. To give the students knowledge on how machines / mechanisms work and the principles they depend on. To enable students to understand, predict, describe, explain and compare their ideas in English.
Course Content
In this course, the concepts releated with various science disciplines (mathematics, physics, chemistry) and engineering will be given. The examinations of examples of issues related to manufacturing: the tools used in the industry, motors, measuring instruments; engineering fundamental issues of material, mechanics, thermodynamics and static will be performed.
