Course Goal / Objective

The pupose of the lesson is to make the students gain the ability to realize the general marketing applications and to comment on marketing principles for accommodation, travel and food and beverage businesses.

Course Content

In the first module, the "Tourism Marketing Concept" the general definition of marketing, an introduction to the tourism marketing and issues related to the tourism markets are explained. In the second module, "Marketing Mix in Tourism", touristic products, distribution system, marketing strategies, promotion of tourism are described. In the third module, the "Marketing Research", the benefits of marketing tools, marketing research methods, marketing research plan, marketing research issues, marketing policy and principles of marketing and international tourism marketing research topics are explained.
