Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to gain basis knowledge related to clothing technology, introduce clothing production steps and fundemental actions, give information about quality control in clothing technology.
Course Content
Processing steps in ready made clothing and confection. Pattern development, grading, lay planning. Spreading methods and spreading machines. Cutting and cutting machines. Preparation for sewing. Sewing. Sewing formation elements. Lock stitch machines. Overlock machines, chain stitch machines, sewing automaton. Fixing ironing, pressing and their technology. Quality control in clothing. Production of selected garment. Six sigma and importance in apparel. Packacing and transport in clothing.
